HATHA YOGA

This style integrates breath, posture and heat in a structure that slowly builds throughout the class, postures are taught with awareness around foundation and alignment. Variations are offered in poses encouraging the student to go to their level that suits them. This class helps with flushing toxins, weight management, to help find more depth in the postures.

LEVEL TWO YOGA

Energising Vinyasa style class practiced to facilitate deep and effective opening though the body. Synchronise breath with movement in a fun, mindful flow paced to music in a relaxed atmosphere that emphases the fundamentals of yoga and its philosophy. Practicing in the heat helps further develop skills of concentration, determination and patience that help focus the mind as you deepen your strength, poses and practice. You will notice the heat creates a detoxifying sweat, and leaves you with a healthy glow. The postures in this class are diverse so that they balance strength with flexibility while challenging the mind body. Expect creative standing sequences, inversions, forward bends, twists, hip openers, arm-balances and backbends, finishing with savasana and a brief closing meditation. The class is Intermediate Level but also appropriate for Advanced Beginner as we explore advancements as well as suitable modifications.

YOGA BASICS

Whether you are new to yoga or you are a seasoned practitioner, this class will teach you the foundational principles and techniques you’ll need to ensure a safe and holistic yoga practice. We explore the benefits of: standing, balancing, and seated poses; back and forward bends; twists; and meditation. You will be invited to discover ways to modify your practice to suit your individual requirements, while cultivating a strong foundation for your yoga journey.

YIN YOGA

In this healing practice, you will restore and recharge by letting go. It takes awareness, patience and courage to slow down, to soften and to come back to a healing balance. A yin practice allows you time and space to release tension and to heal the body. Supportive postures will be held for up to five minutes and deep breathing encourages the body and mind to let go and to heal. In Yin Yoga you will practice self-care while pampering yourself and enjoying this restorative practice.
