HOT HATHA YOGA

This style integrates breath, posture and heat in a structure that slowly builds throughout the class, postures are taught with awareness around foundation and alignment. Variations are offered in poses encouraging the student to go to their level that suits them. This class helps with flushing toxins, weight management, to help find more depth in the postures.

BIKRAM YOGA EXPRESS

The 26 Basics: The Original Hot Yoga. Bikram Yoga is a 26 posture basics series practiced in a hot room. It comes from an 84 posture advanced series. The series is the same sequence every class so the student can see the improvement as well as continue to understand and deepen the 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. The heat helps circulation as well as detoxing the body through sweat. The heat softens the fascia and loosens the muscles. This is a strength series though, so expect to work hard. The series focuses on the foundation: lower body, the spine, flexibility and strength. Please dress lightly, come hydrated and bring a towel. Beginner's welcome. Bikram Express is a 60 minute class, practicing the postures once and the 90 min is the original class, practicing each posture twice.

HOT FLOW YOGA

Hot Flow Energising Vinyasa style class practiced in a heated room (approx temp 35 degrees) to facilitate deep and effective opening though the body. Synchronise breath with movement in a fun, mindful flow paced to music in a relaxed atmosphere that emphases the fundamentals of yoga and its philosophy. Practicing in the heat helps further develop skills of concentration, determination and patience that help focus the mind as you deepen your strength, poses and practice. You will notice the heat creates a detoxifying sweat, and leaves you with a healthy glow. The postures in this class are diverse so that they balance strength with flexibility while challenging the mind body. Expect creative standing sequences, inversions, forward bends, twists, hip openers, arm-balances and backbends, finishing with savasana and a brief closing meditation. Come hydrated and prepare to sweat! The class is Intermediate Level but also appropriate for Advanced Beginner as we explore advancements as well as suitable modifications.
